On March 21st 2006, hundreds of kites soared into the air throughout Armenia, representing an exclusive “Talking Kites All Over the World” project. This was an international project initiated by iEARN in November 2005 and announced all over the world for open participation. The amazing ceremony, which will hopefully become a continuous tradition, left children with a great experience and a new and lifelong interest in kites.

More than a thousand students from 41 schools involved in the Armenia School Connectivity Program (ASCP) countrywide flew kites with personal and group images of dreams for a better world, a world of co-existence, tolerance and peace.
The kites flew above monasteries, mountains and meadows.
To make the project more exciting and unforgettable, students from Dilijan school #1 and Dilijan school #4, together with lead teachers and project facilitators, went to the village of Gosh and flew kites from the gorgeously landscaped 11th century monastery of Goshavank.

The kites in the region of Shirak soared into the air from “Hayastan” memorial.
The project brought together people from all over the world to contribute to the internationalization of the values leading towards self-empowerment and global peace.
“Painted dreams, 100 or more, rising up to the sky on colorful kites. At the tail of every kite
there is a person. Next to him are standing 10, 20, 50 more people that are flying kites with him. In 11 regions all over the country there are more people doing the exact same thing - flying their dream“, says Anna Mnacakanyan, a nine grade student of Sevan school #7.
“We are participating in this project because we want peace for all people of this beautiful planet. Our entire school came to the school playground at 2:00 pm to fly kites with messages and artwork of peace. The world needs hope and peace. This is a big day for us and all children are very excited", says a group of six-grade students from Gavar School #3.
”We wish peace and happiness to children and adults all over the world.
And we'd be glad to communicate with other schools from different continents and have friends who care for the future of our planet, who are interested in such projects, who want and do their best to achieve peace and justice”, said a group of children from Anania Shirakatsi Liceum, Yerevan.
